Mac Curtis Outlines High-End Engineering, Research Focus for New Vencore Labs Business

TYSONS CORNER, VA July 1, 2015 — Vencore announced last week the renaming of its Applied Communications Sciences business as Vencore Labs, an organization Vencore CEO Mac Curtis said would carry out technology research geared toward capturing new work in the public and private sectors, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

“We saw the acquisition of ACS as one to get very high-end systems engineering work and QNA services to broaden us, ” Curtis, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2015, told reporters at a media briefing Thursday.

The company acquired ACS from Telcordia Technologies in 2013.
