General Dynamics IT Books Billion-Dollar Missile Defense Deal

General Dynamics Information Technology (NYSE: GD) was awarded a spot on the the MDA’s Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) contract.

GDIT is one of five businesses to claim a share of the five-year, $1.6 billion ID/IQ.

“General Dynamics’ knowledge of BMDS systems engineering and test processes will allow us to quickly react to changing circumstances and customer requirements, to help the Missile Defense Agency be responsive when warfighters call, ” said Bill Cobb, general manager and vice president for General Dynamics Information Technology’s Combat Systems sector.
