Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems Claim Air Force Wins

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $57, 000, 000 contract modification, which will provide for space vehicle preparation and shipping to the launch site, pre-launch check-out, fueling, weighing, final closeouts, integration with launch vehicle and space vehicle launch. At this time, $6, 860, 855 has been obligated.  MSCW/PKA, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-0002; PO0409).

“BAE Systems $6, 300, 788 contract modification which will provide non-personal services to operate, maintain and support the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System and site at Cavalier Air Force Station, N.D. At this time, no funds have been obligated. 21 CONS/LGCZB, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (FA2517-09-C-8000; PO0043).”
