BAE Systems Teams with Freedom PST for New Data Centers

BAE Systems will work with Freedom PST to provide cost-cutting environmental solutions to the federal government with new data centers.

According to BAE, “under a federal directive, agencies have until the end of the summer to submit plans to consolidate and reduce data centers, a move projected to save taxpayer dollars through property sales and reduced maintenance costs and energy bills.”

“Cloud computing means more efficiency and better use of resources, two ways that this combined effort can serve the public sector, ” said Tom Sechler, vice president and general manager for civilian systems and solutions at BAE Systems.
