OAOT’s Sidney Fuchs Elected to Camber Corp. Board of Directors

Camber Corporation has elected Sidney E. Fuchs, president and CEO of OAO Technology Solutions, Inc., to its Board of Directors.

Camber, founded in 1990, has been widely recognized as a world leader for its exceptional subject matter expertise across a broad range of government programs. In December of 2008, Camber was acquired by New Mountain Capital, a New York based private equity firm to serve as the growth platform for New Mountain Capital’s expansion into the Defense-oriented market space.

“With a distinguished career as a senior executive in federal services, and in particular, the intelligence community, Sid will bring a unique perspective and focus as we continue to help address the Nation’s most critical security challenges, ” said Walter Batson, Camber Chairman of the Board and CEO. “Sid’s experience, business expertise and network within the industry and the National Security community will further enable Camber to grow and expand its intelligence capabilities and solutions.”

“Having started my career as a Central Intelligence Agency officer, I have remained committed to our Country’s defense and intelligence mission for over two decades, ” said Fuchs. “I am honored to be on the Camber Board of Directors and look forward to being part of their outstanding organization.”

Fuchs has been the president and CEO of OAOT since 2007 and in January 2010, led the sale of OAOT to Platinum Equity. In 2008, Fuchs was named to the Defense Science Board as a member of the Permanent Task Force on Intelligence and has also served on the National Defense University Board of Visitors since 2002. Prior to OAOT, he was a corporate officer of Northrop Grumman and held the position of president and CEO of TASC, Inc. He began his career as a CIA officer, serving at domestic and foreign posts. Mr. Fuchs is the Chairman of the Tower Club Board of Governors, a member of the LSU Department of Mechanical Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, and an advisor to several public and private corporations and private equity firms.
