Sharon Brady Named COO of Huntington Ingalls’ SN3 Business; Michael Smith Comments

Sharon Brady

Sharon Brady, a 17-year veteran of Huntington Ingalls Industries’ (NYSE: HII) Stoller Newport News Nuclear business, has been named chief operating officer of SN3.

She assumed her new role on June 4 after serving as director of business services for the Savannah River National Laboratory, where SN3 is part of the management team, HII said Tuesday.

Michael Smith, who became president of SN3 in February, said Brady’s business management, contracts, finance, information technology and human capital development experience would help the business advance expansion efforts, develop growth opportunities for employees and meet clients’ requirements.

Brady has more than three decades of executive and management experience across several areas such as contract administration; technology transfer; electronic data systems; business and financial management; audit trails; and project cost control.

SN3 provides management and operations services in support of cleanup contracts with the Energy Department and is part of HII’s technical solutions division that was created in December 2016 after HII completed its purchase of Camber Corp.
