Tim Piccotti named VP and General Manager at Smiths Detection

Smiths Detection has named Tim Piccotti vice president and general manager of the Americas Military and Emergency Responder business units. He will continue to supervise the production of products for the DoD relating to chemical agent defense. He will also oversee other CBRN solutions.

Mal Maginnis, president of Global Military & Emergency Responders at Smiths Detection, said “Tim’s appointment furthers our mission to support and grow these synergistic markets of military and emergency responders. His proven leadership and experience will drive Smiths Detection’s brand forward throughout the Americas, reinforcing our commitment to provide the world’s best and most innovative detection systems and services.”
