News- Deloitte Opens New HQ in Virginia

Deloitte opened its new headquarters in Rosslyn, Va., which will serve as a hub for Deloitte’s Federal Government Services and the company’s soon-to-be-open Center for Federal Innovation and Center for Cyber Innovation.

Robin Lineberger, principal of Deloitte Consulting LLP and leader of Deloitte Federal Government Services, said the opening of the new base is the final phase in the integration of Deloitte and BearingPoint, a management and technology consulting company Deloitte recently acquired.

Lineberger said “Deloitte was already a leader in the federal marketplace, and the acquisition marked an aggressive expansion into the U.S. federal space, gave us increased market share, strengthened our global position and altered the entire competitive landscape. With the integration of the teams now complete, we’re thrilled to continue serving our clients in the important work they do.”

The new headquarters will be located in the Corporate Executive Board building at Waterview Place, 1919 North Lynn Street in Arlington, Va.

Gary Tabach, partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP and managing partner of Deloitte’s Southeast region, said “The decision to locate our federal headquarters here represents a long-term commitment to Arlington County and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our strategy is to locate our teams in a geographically strategic location near our D.C.-based clients, and we feel that our presence here will help us collaborate even more closely with our federal government clients.”
