The US Army has awarded a contract to STG, Inc. to provide network support services for the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET). The 2 year contract is worth $49.6 million and will be in support of the Army Information Systems Engineering Command Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate.
Under the contract, STG will engineer, provide, install and test SIPRNET, along with fixing any problems with the system. The service will be provided throughout the United States. COO Paul Fernandes said “STG provided the Army with a custom solution built around our unique understanding of this sensitive environment.
