Ericsson Federal opens new headquarters to better serve government


Yesterday, Ericsson Federal, Inc. (EFI) announced that the opening of its new headquarters in Reston, Va. The new location is designed to help better serve the company’s expanding government customer base and support its delivery of tactical and infrastructure wireless services to government on all levels. It includes the EFI Technology Laboratory and Briefing Center, where the company will showcase the leading wireline and wireless communications provider’s award-winning solutions to customers.

The Reston headquarters hosts EFI sales, business development, engineering, program management, marketing, human resources and finance. EFI will also benefit because the area is home to a deep pool of talented technology experts who have government industry experience and will contribute to EFI’s evolution and growth in delivering products and services to the government.

“EFI has a strong team in place to address the increasing need for wireline, wireless and broadband communications solutions and to strengthen Ericsson’s partnership with the U.S. government, ” said company president and CEO Doug Smith. “With government agencies demanding the same capabilities as commercial markets, our expanded presence in the area demonstrates our investment and commitment to delivering innovation to support our growing government customer base and industry partners.”
