CACI Wins Prime Contract For Department of Homeland Security NPPD

CACI International won a $14.2 million task order contract from the Department of Homeland Security’s National Protection and Program Directorate (NPPD). CACI International, the prime contractor for the project,  will provide round the clock operational services such as duty desks and watch desks to the NPPD. The five-year indefinite delivery,  indefinite quantity contract has a potential value of $94 million if all options are used.

CACI will provide communication technology to protect the nations infrastructure in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack. The initial task order includes coordination on a state and local level and the monitoring of high-level threats.

“Since we were selected as a prime on the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) program of the DHS in 2006, we have been at the forefront of providing the agency with information technology support services. Now this new work with the NPPD enables us to also deliver the mission support so vital to keeping our nation safe against both natural and man-made threats, ” said Paul Cofoni, CACI president and CEO.
