TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 21, 2016 — Cameron Chehreh, chief technology officer of Dell‘s federal business, has said legacy applications are a key challenge to agency chief information officers as they work to lead information technology modernization efforts, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Chehreh told MeriTalk in an interview published Monday that federal CIOs should adopt incremental strategies to transition legacy applications to the cloud and update security measures at endpoints.

He also noted that hybrid cloud strategies are the best fit for agencies as they balance modern interfaces with critical legacy data.
