TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 13,  2015 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) celebrated its five millionth training event as team lead of the Warrior Training Alliance, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said the warfighter-focused program has saved millions in costs on the U.S. Army FOCUS contract initially awarded in 2008.

“Reaching these unprecedented milestones was only possible as a result of the investments Raytheon has made in information systems, technology and logistics capabilities; our partnership with the WTA companies; and our domain knowledge as one of the Department of Defense‘s largest training partners, ” said Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services.
