October 26 Morning Report: GovCon Index Rises as More Q3 Earnings Reports Loom


GovConIndexUPThe GovCon Index closed Friday at a gain of 1.057 percent to 75.312 ahead of third-quarter earnings reports from more Index companies scheduled through the end of the week.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) reported Q3 earnings above Wall Street estimates, helping the Index record a weekly gain of 6.32 percent.

The GovCon Index is up 2.84 percent compared to the previous month and down 0.66 percent over the past three months.
