Lockheed Marks F-16V Maiden Flight with Northrop AESA Radar


F16FleetTYSONS CORNER, VA, October 22,  2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) flew the F-16V for the first time integrated with the latest avionics configuration, including Northrop Grumman’s (NYSE: NOC) APG-83 AESA flight control radar.

Lockheed said the maiden flight took place over Fort Worth, Texas, on Oct. 16.

Other enhancements to the fighter plane include a new cockpit and an upgraded mission computer.
