He has focused on business development and long-term growth as an EVP and helped lead the company to win spots on three contract vehicles with the departments of Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs, as well as a National Institutes of Health office, CCSi said Tuesday.
CCSi holds positions on the VA’s T4, DHS’ EAGLE II and NIH’s CIO-SP3 vehicles.
Dr. Naren Bewtra, CCSi president, said Opsahl has worked to help position the company for growth in the health and national security markets.
Opsahl, a 30-year federal IT and business services veteran, is a former EVP at Perot Systems and led that company’s civil sector business.
He has worked with both defense and civilian agencies.
