Christine Fox Joins JHU Applied Physics Lab as Technical Director

foxChristine Fox, the former director of cost assessment and program evaluation at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, has been named technical director at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory.

Fox will work to advise and counsel the stakeholders of the Laurel, Md.-based lab, Johns Hopkins said Monday.

Ralph Semmel, APL director, said Fox will aim to help APL enhance its services for sponsors.

She most recently worked with the deputy defense secretary to steer the Defense Department‘s future budget by working on the Strategic Choices and Management Review.

Fox also previously served as president of the Center for Naval Analyses, a research and development center under the Department of the Navy.
