DynCorp Wins $432M To Manage AF, Navy T-6 Supply; Jim Myles Comments

DynCorp International has won a potential $432 million contract to establish, operate and manage base supply facilities for the Air Force and Navy, the company announced Thursday.

The firm-fixed-price contract has one base year and four option years.

The company will provide spare parts and equipment for T-6 aircraft out of nine contractor operated and maintained base supply stations at nine military facilities.

Locations of work for the Air Force include bases in Columbus, Miss.; Laughlin, Randolph and Sheppard in Texas; and Vance, Okla.

Work for the Navy will occur at air stations in Pensacola, Fla.; Whiting Field, Fla.; Patuxent River, Md.; and Corpus Christi, Texas.

Last month, the company announced it won a similar contract valued at $92.6 million contract under the Contract Field Teams vehicle to support Air Force aircraft.
