URS Wins $99M For Army Motion Detectors

URS Corp. (NYSE: URS) has won a $99, 199, 868 contract to provide lighting kit motion detector systems for the U.S. Army, the Defense Department announced Friday.

Locations of work will be determined by each individual delivery order and the Pentagon expects work to finish by April 22, 2017.

The Army Contracting Command’s office in Natick, Mass. is the contracting activity for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

URS is also providing education training products and services to the Navy under a potential $80 million contract, which has a base year and two option years.

For nearly three decades, the company has supported the Naval Education Training and Professional Development and Technology Center in Pensacola, Fla.
