URS Wins $80M for Navy Education Support; Randall Wotring Comments

URS Corp. (NYSE: URS) has won a potential $80 million U.S. Navy contract to provide the branch with education training products and services, the company announced Friday.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract has one base year and two one-year options.

Federal Services President Randall Wotring said the company has supported the Pensacola, Fla.-based Naval Education Training and Professional Development and Technology Center for nearly three decades.

Work will include curriculum development, personal computer modeling, simulation management and staff support.

URS recently received a $56.4 million contract from the Navy for command, control, communications, collaboration, computers and intelligence operations testing services.
