Navy Taps Progeny Systems for Potential $186M Sonar Upgrade Support Contract

Progeny Systems has won a potential seven-year, $186.5M contract to update a common broadband advanced sonar system for the U.S. Navy. The company will provide detail design, engineering development models and  proof-of-design, manufacturing and low-rate initial production units for the Mk 48 mod 7 CBASS heavyweight torpedo program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
