Army Taps General Dynamics, American Ordnance for $133M Artillery Charge System Production Contract

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and American Ordnance have landed spots on a potential five-year, $133.2M contract to supply the U.S. Army with artillery propellants. The two companies will compete for orders to manufacture 155mm M231 and M232 propelling charges for the Modular Artillery Charge System, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
