Forescout Technologies will continue to help the Department of Defense protect its networks and other critical assets from cyberthreats under a multiyear contract in support of DOD’s Comply-to-Connect program.
The company said Thursday it will provide its cybersecurity platform to enable DOD to control and manage access to traditional information technology networks, critical infrastructure and other nontraditional connected environments and help the Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network manage its cyberattack surface.
The Forescout platform works to facilitate network-based discovery and classification of devices and allows users to continuously monitor connected devices.
Forescout CEO Wael Mohamed said C2C is one of the world’s largest government cybersecurity programs and has been a critical approach to securing national defense architecture and the company has helped advance the initiative by ensuring device control and visibility across the Pentagon’s enterprise network.
“Discovering and assessing what devices are connected and how they behave, our platform provides organizations with the information and insights to make decisions for effective risk management,” added Mohamed.
The multimillion dollar contract will run through August 2023 and expand the use of the company’s cybersecurity platform to U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and Fourth Estate networks in addition to U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy infrastructure to drive the implementation of zero trust principles.
