WSP's U.S. subsidiary has landed a potential five-year, $100M contract from the U.S. Navy to perform engineering and design services in support of waterfront projects within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command's northwest area of operations.
Projects covered by the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract require expertise in various areas such as surveying, geotechnical, naval architect and environmental disciplines, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The service branch awarded WSP USA a one-year, $5.9M initial task order to conduct feasibility and engineering studies of multimission dry dock alternatives in order to develop an environmental impact statement on Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Naval Base Kitsap.
NAVFAC received four proposals for the IDIQ contract, which runs through January 2025.
