Missouri-based World Wide Technology has secured a contract with a ceiling value of $99 million to provide cybersecurity and engineering support to the U.S. Air Force’s 688th Cyberspace Wing, the Department of War announced Thursday.

The firm-fixed-price award covers services tied to the Cybersecurity Service Provider-Assurance, Risk, Governance and Innovation Systems Security effort, but no funds are being obligated at time of award.

What Are the Details of the Contract Awarded to World Wide Technology?

Under the agreement, the company will deliver professional cybersecurity and engineering support services at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas, with a period of performance running through Sept. 14, 2031.

The award followed a competitive bidding process that drew 22 offers. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center within Air Combat Command, headquartered at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, is managing the contract on behalf of the Air Force.

WWT will support the 688th Cyberspace Wing, which stands as the Air Force’s original cyberspace-focused wing, tasked with running continuous global network defense and operations while fielding combat communications teams ready for rapid deployment. The wing draws on a workforce of more than 3,200 active-duty personnel, civilian employees and contractor support spread across roughly two dozen units worldwide, managing four distinct weapon systems that underpin Air Force and joint-force communications requirements. The wing has been reorganized several times over the decades before settling into its current cyberspace mission in 2013.
