Welch Allyn Gets Potential $100M DLA Contract for Patient Monitoring Systems

Welch Allyn, a subsidiary of Hill-Rom, has won a five-year, $100M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply U.S. service branches with patient monitoring systems and accessories.

DLA received 36 responses for the firmfixedprice, indefinitedelivery/indefinitequantity contract via a competitive acquisition, which includes training services and a one five-year option period, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The Pentagon will use defense working capital funds for fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2024 to finance orders.

Welch Allyn is headquartered in Skaneateles Falls, N.Y., and sells medical technology platforms designed to help clinicians diagnose and treat patients.
