The State Department plans to issue a follow-on to a contract to support the Integrated Logistics Management System, which handles data related to over $11B in medical supplies and assets, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.
ILMS is comprised of more than 80 technologies and is designed to integrate with governmentwide acquisition platforms like SAM.gov and the State Department’s financial management and human resources systems.
The platform also works to help the department manage procurement, distribution, warehousing, transport and tracking of goods and services across 178 countries.
According to BGOV, the State Department plans to set-aside the recompete contract to small businesses and solicit 24/7 help desk support for ILMS as part of the new award.
Accenture (NYSE: ACN), the current ILMS contractor, is slated to perform work through the end of fiscal year 2020. Task orders under the current award may run through FY 2023.
The State Department will accept responses from interested parties through Aug. 3.
