The State Department has approved a $260 million foreign military sale of logistics support services, support and communications equipment, personnel training and spare and repair parts for F-16 units to Oman.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agencysaid Thursday the government of Oman has also requested electronic combat international security assistance, contractor engineer technical services, technical coordination group, international engine management program and precision measurement equipment laboratory services.
DSCA noted the sale of support services will contribute to U.S. foreign policy and national security and the country’s military-to-military relationship with Oman.
