What Is the Protected Tactical Satcom-Global Program?

PTS-G is a Space Force program that seeks to provide resilient and secure satellite communications for tactical users in contested environments. The program aims to drive the development of anti-jam technology, including the Protected Tactical Waveform, to ensure that communication links remain operational even under threat.

In November 2024, SSC’s Military Communications and Position, Navigation and Timing released a request for proposals for the PTS-G effort.
