The U.S. Space Force is conducting market research into potential vendors that can help the branch develop, implement, update and expand software platforms to defend its networks and associated computer systems.
USSF said Wednesday in a SAM.gov notice that the government intends to procure industry services to support the Space Systems Command’s cyber operations division through a multiple-award contract vehicle called Digital Bloodhound.
The command plans to collect and assess capability statements from prospective suppliers to determine their capability to deploy open architecture and nonproprietary technologies in accordance with the Agile Release Train- Agile Release Scaled Agile Framework.
According to the notice, USSF aims to modernize cyber operations infrastructure and information sharing and stream processing tools. The branch also seeks to integrate new mission systems and data streams as part of cybersecurity efforts.
Interested parties must submit their answers to a set of contracting questions listed in the notice by Aug. 19.
