SAIC Lands $485M NASA Enterprise Applications Service Tech 2 Support Contract

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has secured a potential eight-year, $485 million contract to continue to provide operational support services for NASA™s Enterprise Applications Competency Center.

The follow-on, cost-plus-performance-fee contract was awarded through the Enterprise Applications Service Technologies program and contains a two-year base period with six option years, NASA said Thursday.

Contract work will start Feb. 1 and could extend through March 31, 2024, once the space agency exercises all options.

The EAST 2 contract also contains an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity option to deliver application support services to other NASA centers across the country.

SAIC currently provides support services for NEACC under a $321.2 million EAST contract that is set to expire on Jan. 31.

NASA’s shared services center at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi will oversee business activities related to the EAST 2 contract.

NEACC is headquartered at Alabama-based Marshall Space Flight Center and works to maintain, run and support enterprise applications, infrastructure and mission-critical platforms across the space agency.
