Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) was awarded a potential five-year, $115.7 million task order to help operate and optimize the Internal Revenue Service’s Unisys mainframe and server environment, according to a government notice.
SAIC will provide information technology services and infrastructure support to the IRS Chief Information Officer as part of the task order awarded under the Enterprise Services Unisys Support indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.
A March 2022 request for information posting reveals that the ESUS procurement effort covers task order areas such as enterprise mainframe infrastructure modernization and enhancement; sustainment, operations and maintenance support; services management support; transition support; and surge support.
