Safran Optics 1 Wins $305M Army Target Locator Module II Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded Safran Optics 1 a potential multi-year, $304.5 million contract to produce a laser target locator module for the service branch.

The Army Contracting Command received five bids for the firm-fixed-price contract through an online-based solicitation and will provide funds and work location upon award of each order,  the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The Target Locator Module I is a component of the Army’s Lightweight Laser Designation Rangefinder modular target locator and laser designation system.
