Rodin Lyasoff Promoted to CEO at Airbus' A3 Innovation Outpost

Rodin Lyasoff, a former project executive at Airbus Group‘s A3 advanced projects and partnerships outpost in Silicon Valley, has been promoted to lead A3 as chief executive.

He succeeds Paul Eremenko, who was appointed as the aerospace and defense contractor’s chief technology officer, Airbus said Tuesday.

Lyasoff has supported the development of various unmanned aerial vehicle development programs such as NASA‘s Mars Flyer Demonstrator and AAI Shadow. during his prior role as lead controls and software engineer at Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL).

He also previously worked at Zee.Aero and Airware, where he helped architect and implement a commercial drone deployment platform.
