Jon Greaves, former Carpathiachief information security officer, has been named QTS Realty Trust‘s (NYSE: QTS) new chief technology officer in line with the latter’s efforts to build on its executive leadership.
QTS noted Thursday that Greaves will report directly to Chad Williams, QTS chairman and CEO.
Greaves held a number of positions at Carpathia, including as chief scientist and CISO, and is a technology services professional with a focus on managed services, information security and operations.
“Jon’s expertise will continue to add value for our customers as he influences the strategic vision of QTS’ technology platforms, †said Williams.
QTS added it had undergone other changes in its executive leadership with the appointment of a number of Carpathia veterans into other key QTS positions and the departure of Peter Weber, formerly Carpathia CEO.
Weber led the integration efforts following QTS’ $326 million acquisition of Carpathia in 2015.
