Oceanetics has won a $100 million contract with a five-year base period for ocean infrastructure support services to the U.S. Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center.
The Annapolis, Maryland-based company will perform work for the EXWC Oceans Technical Department located in Port Hueneme, California, under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
EXWC OTD engineers seafloor systems, moorings, shore-based hyperbaric facilities and underwater cable structures for DOD organizations.
The Navy will obligate $10,000 on the award and may extend the performance period until May 2028 through the exercise of an option.
