Eight companies have secured spots on a potential $283.8M contract to provide technical and engineering support services for electrical power and generation systems aboard the U.S. Navy™s vessels.
Work will cover the installation of such power mechanisms on assault craft, submarines and surface ships, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
Work will occur in the firms™ respective facilities, as well as at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division through September 2023.
The recipients of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract are:
