Navy Taps 4 Firms for Systems Engineering, Logistics Support Contracts

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), G2 Software Systems and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) have won separate contracts to provide technical support services for the U.S. Navy.

Each of the three-year, multiple-award contracts contains two option years, the Defense Department said Monday.

SAIC secured a $26.7 million contract, which could reach a total value of $45 million if contract options are exercised.

G2 Software Systems was awarded a $24.5 million contract, which could hit a total value of $41.6 million if the service branch exercises all options.

Kratos™ defense and rocket support services subsidiary received a $21.4 million contract that could reach $36.2 million in total value if options are exercised.

Booz Allen’s engineering services unit secured a $19.2 million contract, which could reach a total value of $32.5 million should the Navy exercise all options.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts cover systems engineering, logistics, project management, research, security, technical troubleshooting, test and evaluation and installation work.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific awarded the cost-reimbursement contracts through a competitive competition with four proposals received and will obligate funds upon award of each task order.

Work will occur in San Diego, California, through Feb. 28, 2019, according to DoD.
