The U.S. Navy has awarded four companies potential five-year contracts to provide training support for the service branch™s submarine, ashore and tactical afloat shipboard command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific received nine proposals for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts that have a three-year base period and two option years.
Each of the contracts™ base and ceiling values are listed below:
Alion Science: base value of $24.5 million with a $41.4 million ceiling if all options are exercised
Del Rey: base value of $25.9 million with a $43.9 million ceiling if all options are exercised
HII™s Camber: base value of $25.2 million with a $42.8 million ceiling if all options are exercised
ManTech: base value of $27.2 million with a $45.8 million ceiling if all options are exercised
The contracts cover the design and installation of technical training equipment and fleet training scheduling operations as well as training platforms development and implementation.
Work will occur on ships and ground sites worldwide through September 2022 should the Navy exercise all options.
