Twelve companies have been awarded spots on a potential five-year, $497.5M U.S. Navy contract to provide Strike Planning and Execution System hardware and software for domestic and foreign military clients.
Contractors will vie for individual orders to develop, modify, integrate, test and sustain technologies via the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The IDIQ also covers engineering change proposal activities, feasibility studies, technical documentation, fabrication and help desk services.
Naval Air Systems Command received 12 offers for the contract through an electronic solicitation process and will obligate funds upon issuance of each order.
DoD expects work to conclude by April 2025.
