Mission Critical Partners Buys RKV to Expand Public Sector Offerings; Darrin Reilly Quoted

Mission Critical Partners has acquired RKV Technologies for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand MCP’s information technology, project management and data integration offerings for public sector customers.

Darrin Reilly, president and CEO of MCP, said in a statement published Tuesday the shortage of technical talent in the public sector comes at a time when agencies are advancing the adoption of new technologies to transform operations.

“The acquisition of RKV enhances our ability to help our clients continuously evolve while presenting new partnership opportunities for collaboratively filling the talent and skillset gaps,” Reilly added.

Jefferson City, Missouri-based RKV was founded in 2008 and is focused on providing database platforms, project management, staff augmentation and IT consulting support services to state and local government agencies. The company has completed over 1,000 projects in support of public safety, transportation, education, environmental, labor and social services sectors.

Bob Myers, president and CEO of RKV, said the transaction will enable the company to help its customers use digital technology to support their missions and offer professional growth opportunity to employees.

The acquisition came a week after MCP purchased cybersecurity firm Secure Halo.
