Millennium Lands Potential $185M NASA Safety, Mission Assurance Services IDIQ

Millennium Engineering and Integration Company has secured a potential five-year, $185 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from NASA to provide safety and mission assurance services at the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.

NASA said Saturday the ordering period under the SMAS II small business set-aside contract will begin from Sept. 1 and run through Aug. 31, 2022.

MEI will help implement agency and center policies for Goddard projects that include systems safety, risk assessment, mission software and ground systems assurance, mission assurance, occupational safety and health regulations at on-site and supplier locations.

The company will also support flight projects and collaborative programs such as James Webb Space Telescope, Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer, Joint Polar Satellite System-1 and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite missions.

Work also covers support for Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope, Restore-L and Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem projects.

Arlington, Virginia-based MEI offers aviation and aeronautics, cyber, defense, healthcare, intelligence and space technology, engineering and programming services to federal government and intelligence community clients.
