Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a three-year, $266.2M contract modification to obtain F-35 special tooling and test equipment for U.S. military and non-Department of Defense customers.
The Naval Air Systems Command is obligating the full amount with fiscal 2019 aircraft procurement funds from non-DoD entities as well as the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy, the Pentagon said Friday.
Fifty percent of efforts under the modification will take place at Fort Worth, Texas, and the remaining 50 percent will occur at various U.S. and international locations. DoD expects work to conclude by July 2022.
