Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will support technical refresh work on pilot and maintainer training equipment for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program under a U.S. Navy contract modification worth $122.7 million.
The Department of Defense said Thursday the funds will cover training site standup, schedules, support capability and system maintenance efforts.
Lockheed will help update end-of-life components in fielded training devices for domestic and international customers by providing non-recurring engineering and necessary materials.
Approximately $67.4 million will be obligated on the award from both the Navy and the Air Force, and another $38.5 million in foreign military sales and non-DOD funds.
Ninety-five percent of work will occur in Florida and the remaining five percent in Texas.
The Pentagon expects Lockheed to complete the services by December 2025.
