Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a $427 million order from the U.S. Navy to provide ancillary military and pilot flight equipment for the 11th batch of low-rate initial production F-35 jets.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday Lockheed will supply the F-15 equipment to the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, non-DoD participants and foreign military sales customers.
Work is scheduled to occur through December 2020 in Inglewood, California; White Plains, New York; St. Petersburg and Orlando, Florida and Fort Worth, Texas.
The Naval Air Systems Command will obligate $212.1 million at the time of award from fiscal 2015 through 2017 Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy aircraft procurement funds; and non-DoD participants and FMS funds.
