A team led by KeyLogic Systems has received a five-year, $112 million prime contract to provide mission execution and strategic analysis services to a U.S. Energy Department-run national laboratory that conducts research on energy and environmental technologies.
KeyLogic said Tuesday it will support the National Energy Technology Laboratory’s efforts to plan, monitor and assess research and development programs related to coal, oil and natural gas, energy management, electricity delivery and renewable energy sources.
Work also covers process and cost engineering, life cycle, economic, market, regulatory, technology deployment, program benefit, energy infrastructure, subsurface and financial analyses.
“This contract represents a tremendous opportunity for KeyLogic to strengthen our partnership with DOE that has been developed over the past seven years, said Jon Hammock, president and CEO of KeyLogic Systems.
Deloitte‘s consulting business, Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and Allegheny Science and Technology will act as the primary subcontractors to KeyLogic on the contract.
KeyLogic noted it will also collaborate with 14 specialty services providers and seven universities to help NETL carry out its programs.
