A business unit of Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has won a potential $480 million contract to provide test, evaluation and certification support services to the Defense Information Systems Agency.
Jacobs Technology will primarily perform work at DISA’s headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland, and at the Fort Huachuca, Arizona-based facility of the agency’s Joint Interoperability Test Command, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The contract has a two-year base period that will run through Sept. 20, 2019, followed by three one-year option periods and an additional six-month option.
Three proposals were submitted to he Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a solicitation process on FedBizOpps.
DISA will obligate $10,000 in fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds to cover the first task order.
