Jacobs (NYSE: J) has won a potential $973.7 million contract from NASA to provide research operations, maintenance and engineering support services for the agency’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.
NASA said Thursday the Center, Operations Maintenance and Engineering II program is a cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a phase-in period that will kick off Oct. 1 and run through the end of December.
The IDIQ contract will have a base term of 15 months and five optional periods that could extend work through the end of 2035.
The company will also provide central utilities operations, institutional and research operations and engineering support services for the center’s facilities.
