Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has won a potential five-year, $130 million contract for scientific and engineering support services to the U.S. Army‘s Electronic Proving Ground facility at Fort Huachuca in Arizona.
The company said Wednesday it will test distributed network and enterprise systems as well as provide cybersecurity, electromagnetic environmental effects, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, information assurance, safety, logistics and security services under the contract.
Work will also include developmental and operational intelligence, electronic warfare, software, cyber and biometric testing support.
“Jacobs has a long history of supporting the U.S. Army, ranging from research and development to test and evaluation, to sustainment and support of complex weapons systems,” said Darren Kraabel, senior vice president of aerospace and technology at Jacobs.
Kraabel added the company aims to introduce new technologies to major range and test facility bases through the contract.
