Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) will help the U.S. Navy design and initially operate an underwater launch test system for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Ind., under a potential $93M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The IDIQ also covers modernization, redesign, fabrication and operation support for an in-air launch testing platform at the NAWC-Weapons Division facility in China Lake, Calif., the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work is scheduled to occur through September 2024.
The Navy did not competitively procure the services and will obligate an initial amount of $100K from its fiscal 2019 working capital funds.
